Engineering Design - Structural

Sidvin Structural and Civil department, established in 2004, is a right combination of knowledge, skills, experience and adaption of latest technologies and tools. Structural department has proved its capabilities in designing massive steel structures that are exposed to some of the toughest environmental conditions like the deserts of Saudi Arabia and the deep seas across Africa, Asia and South America. Structural analysis software STAAD Pro, in house developed excel calculation sheets and hand calculations are employed in structural analysis and design of these structures. Modeling and detailing software tools like PDMS and AutoCAD are used to deliver fabrication drawing.

Civil department has been successfully providing detailed design of foundations and floor design to the various structures designed for onshore activities. Complex reinforced concrete designs have been executed for Saudi Arabian projects.

All tools used by the Structural / Civil department are the latest industry standards. Sidvin has the experience in designing structures, according to various standards / Codes (British, American, Euro and Indian codes). Sidvin has designed complex structures which involves bolted and welded connections. Sidvin Structural / Civil department has executed over 20 projects of varying complexity till date.

Recently, Sidvin structural has developed a dedicated team of experienced designers who can deliver detailed fabrication drawings for steel bridges and successfully executed a few projects.
